Europe-bound Chinese tech start-up’s second EV is a Taycan-chasing ‘digital GT’

Chinese tech start-up Human Horizons has created another head-turner to follow the X that it launched in 2020. Despite being from a hitherto unknown brand, called HiPhi, the X has routinely been the best-selling premium EV in China, beating rivals both foreign (Mercedes-Benz EQC) and domestic (Hongqi E-HS9).

Although based on the same platform, the HiPhi Z is a very different proposition: a sporty GT to challenge the Porsche Taycan.
