Bold designs and an abundance of cultural offerings make Doha a go-to destination.

Doha offers an opportunity to see a great city of the future being built around you. The once-dusty pearling port has completely transformed since the discovery of vast reserves of natural gas. As one of the newest additions to West Bay’s futuristic skyline, Shangri-La Hotel, Doha makes a convenient base in the city as it warms up for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Breakfast is served at the Horizon Lounge on the 42nd floor of the hotel, where you can enjoy 360-degree city views, or at the all-day dining restaurant Sridan. The restaurant is reminiscent of a souq and has a resident oud player who serenades diners. There are 10 food stations, including Arabic and Indian, offering options to suit the pickiest of palates.
